On February 28, 2023, Susan B. Henner, Esq. of the Henner Lawn Group, P.C. was invited to speak at the Yonkers Lawyers’ Association meeting and Continuing Legal Education Seminar.

Held at Zuppa Restaurant in Yonkers, NY, Susan was joined by Donald London, Esq. to discuss topics of immigration law that are relevant and timely to the local community. This event was held for newly admitted and experienced attorneys to give them more of an insight into what is happening in the world of immigration law.

Susan and Don discussed the differences between Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Visas, as well as provided a brief summarization of how to apply for U.S. citizenship. They also discussed timely topics such as the current happenings at the United States and Mexico border, President Biden’s response, birthright citizenship, and the current state of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, also known as DACA.

Because these topics are so important in our society today, Susan and Don were more than happy to share their knowledge and expertise with other local attorneys.
